Endo² The Stylish Minimalist Art-Led Accessories and Decor Brand

Endo² is a stylish minimalist art-led brand by Kenyan-Japanese sisters Yvonne and Patti Endo. Born in Tokyo and currently living in Kenya the sisters came up with the idea of pairing Patti’s continuous line drawings with Yvonne’s business marketing and management acumen. 

Mainly featuring portraits and the human body Patti’s minimalist aesthetic rendered in simple black and white with the occasional red splash is transferred to fashion accessories such as t-shirts, tote bags, and jewellery, and onto decor including ceramic vases and cushion covers. Prints of her work are also available for sale.

The sister’s dual heritage influences their brand and design. The minimal aesthetic and materials used such as brush pens and inks echo Japan and the brand styling draws on their home in Kenya.

Endo² has also collaborated with Sandstorm Kenya a local heritage bag brand for a coveted limited-edition collection of tote bags adorned with Patti’s distinctive illustrations.

Patti who studied in the UK graduated in Fine Art and has exhibited her work around the world. And together with Yvonne, the Endo sisters have become an integral part of Nairobi’s growing art and fashion scene.
