Crisp white cotton brought to life using colourful fabrics that are handmade and hand-block printed in West Africa, Royal Hut is a luxury home furnishings brand whose stylish interiors and lifestyle products reflect the heritage of the region from which they originate.
The late Mary Vinson Blackwell, who was inspired to create the brand after seeing attire worn by the legendary Nigerian musician King Sunny Ade and his band in concert, founded Royal Hut in 2001. Working with a network of artisans from around West Africa, Royal Hut creates a sophisticated, desirable range of bedding, bath towels, cushions and kimonos using high-count cottons. The colourful patterns and print fabrics are incorporated into the products and the handmade nature of these prints means no two are exactly alike, ensuring a unique product.

In recognition of the skill, creativity and passion found locally, Royal Hut purchases directly from the artisans and textile producers as part of their commitment to supporting local communities.
