Taisir Gibreel is a luxury accessories label that celebrates colour, culture, and diversity. The label was founded by Scottish based textile designer, Taisir Gibreel, whose designs are a visual feast of intense kaleidoscopic colour combined with bold striking patterns. Born to a Sudanese father and English mother, Taisir was raised in Sudan, and now resides in Scotland having moved to the country to pursue a degree in textile design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, where she specialised in Print and Weave.

Exhibiting a mastery of pattern, colour, and texture, Taisir’s designs draw on the diversity of her multi-cultural background and are centred on her original hand drawings of Scotland’s urban and rural landscapes, fusing this inspiration with her Sudanese/British heritage, resulting in a truly distinctive collection of pure silk, and wool scarves, luxurious shift dresses and other personal accessories that are designed in Scotland and made in England.

Taisir’s collections are stocked in galleries and independent retailers around the world and since starting her label creating scarves she has now added a collection of shift dresses.
