The creation of London born Natalie Yaa Obenewa Thompson, Bespoke Binny offers a range of colourful, motivational products inspired by her Ghanaian heritage. Natalie first began creating her Nyansa ‘Wisdom’ cushions, featuring ancient African proverbs as a gift of support to her mother who was going through a serious illness. Natalie is a CBT (Cognitive-behavioral therapy) therapist and soon realised that as an extension of her work this was another platform to reach out to support and encourage others in need of upliftment or going through challenging circumstances. She began to develop the range, which now includes lampshades, kitchen and dining linens, and decorative typographical prints amongst others. As Natalie says,

  At work I see so many people who feel down or have a lack of support. I feel like Bespoke Binny, particularly my choices of positive and uplifting African proverbs, are an extension of my career. My hope is that they will help to uplift and inspire others.
