West African Food and Flavour With Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen Cookbook

Zoe's Ghana Kitchen Cookbook West African Food Recipes

Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen cookbook by Zoe Adjonyoh is a revelation. A beautiful reference to Ghanaian cooking that is part cookbook, part memoir tracing her heritage through food.

Self-taught chef, Zoe is the founder of Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, a restaurant that started life as supper club followed. The increasing interest in Ghanian food led to the opening of a long-term pop-up restaurant in Brixton, and appearances at various festivals in and around London and beyond, bringing her take on West African cuisine to new palates.

Born to a Ghanaian father, and an Irish mother, in 2013 Zoe embarked on a journey to Ghana to visit her extended family, and in the process learned more about Ghanaian food. After spending time in her grandmother’s kitchen, exploring the local food markets and learning traditional recipes, Zoe returned to the UK with the basis for her book.
