Lulas Clan is an award winning family business that creates bold textiles inspired by the diversity of Africa’s vibrant heritage and cultures. The company was founded by Bonolo Helen Chepape a South African textile designer on a mission to preserve culture and heritage, by enabling them to evolve yet retain their meaning and have a continued presence in our contemporary world.

Through her designs Bonolo helps share the stories, and show the beauty, creativity and craftsmanship of Africa. Bonolo’s designs are statement pieces and several make a point of celebrating women from their contemporary and cultural dress to their beauty, strength and ambition.

Lulas Clan textiles are transformed into soft furnishings, wallpaper, fabric and collectable art collections. Using eco solvent inks the designs are digitally printed onto locally sourced fabrics. Bonolo also offers custom textile design services and has worked with some of South Africa’s leading interiors and lifestyle brands.
